The Dance of Authenticity through the Wisdom of the Horse

Horses inspire our dreams and ignite our passion. Horses remind us that true power and wisdom is found in the understanding of ones total journey. They naturally bring us deeper into our true sense of self, purpose and passion.

Horses embody power, grace and a highly tuned instinct. A horse’s survival depends on its ability to sense any incongruity in its environment and respond appropriately. In the herd, horses naturally trust their instincts and are attuned to the moods and body language of others. Their social structure is highly valued, without it their survival is threatened.

Horses offer humans an opportunity to understand a deeper way of being in the world by learning their way. During Horse Wisdom programs you interact with horses and they become a non-judgmental mirror of the gifts, challenges and areas where you are ready to grow as a person. Horses teach us to become more emotionally, physically and mentally aware.

Horse Wisdom personal growth programs focus on exploring the relationship that is possible between species as a means of expanding one's potential and consciousness. Activities in Equine Facilitated Learning programs may include reflective round pen sessions, grooming, active round pen sessions, movement and/or creative arts. This workshop includes a special blend of life coaching processes and worksheets to help you reach greater levels of mind/body awareness, presence, and ignite your authentic self. Peronal growth and development may include an increase of your confidence and self-empowerment, deep realizations, and conection with a community of like minded people.

What is included in the seven month SOUL SUCCESS process?

First is the Kick Off and Kick Butt SOUL SUCCESS Mountain Retreat in Carbondale, Colorado at the pristine Avalanche Ranch.

Retreat dates: May 16th –May 18th, starting Friday at 9:00 am and ending Sunday at 4:00 pm. Avalanche Ranch, is best described as a ‘Rocky Mountain Picture Post Card in the Heart of Colorado.’ During the retreat you will in experience several different creative processes such as writing, visualization, collage, ritual in nature, and much more (see below) to bring forth your SOUL purpose and authentic self.


Lodging: Avalanche Ranch has offered a reasonable rate of only $60 a night in their beautiful unique ranch cabins. These rates are based on shared cabins. If you wish for a private cabin there is an extra charge. These rooms are booked through Kathy and available Thursday night through Sunday night. (If you are a local to this valley you do not need to stay at the ranch but we encourage it)
Meals: Bagels, fruit, tea and coffee each morning, and lunch is included everyday. Wine tasting and munchies on Friday evening. Saturday night is an open night. Retreat is a $1200.00 ticket value. (I understand I am responsible for my own airfare and travel, Kathy will provide connections with others to share expenses, suggestions for air travel and shuttle van information).
